Overview:
As an Associate Director at our R&D Tax Credit Firm, you will play a pivotal role in driving client success by leading engagements, mentoring team members, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional tax credit solutions. You will combine technical expertise with strategic leadership to help clients uncover and claim valuable R&D tax credits while fostering long-term relationships and contributing to the growth of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Engagement & Advisory: Lead client engagements, providing expert guidance on R&D tax credit eligibility and compliance.Review and analyze technical documentation and financial data to identify qualifying activities and expenses.Develop tailored strategies to maximize R&D tax credit claims while ensuring alignment with regulations.

Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of consultants and analysts, fostering their growth and professional development.Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes.Provide technical training and guidance to team members on R&D tax credit processes and best practices.

   
   

3. Regulatory Expertise & Reporting: Stay updated on relevant tax laws, regulations, and industry developments to provide accurate advice to clients.Prepare and review technical reports and documentation to support R&D tax credit claims.Serve as a key liaison during audits or reviews, representing the firm and its clients with professionalism.

Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client relationships and grow the firm’s R&D tax credit practice.Collaborate with senior leadership to refine service offerings and enhance client value.Attend industry events and network to build the firm’s reputation and client base.

   
   

   Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.7+ years of experience in R&D tax credits, corporate taxation, or a related field.Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and client engagements.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, teams, and stakeholders.Proficiency in tax software and tools; knowledge of federal and state R&D tax credit regulations.
